Yes, it works, but you have to whack the pads extremely to hear something. It is f.e. better to glue 2 piezos into the pad and to wire them in series to get a better output. For people who don't want to change their pads for this purpose a 3:1 transformer might be useful to increase the output voltage. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
