Sounds like the "6" indicates a malfunction. Have you checked a manual? Otherwise, the first thing to do is to see if the PSU is delivering what it's promising... The battery you changed is "just" for memory. electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se www.myspace.com/machinepop ----- Original Message ----- From: "trevor_berner" <trevor_berner@...> To: <Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2007 10:30 PM Subject: [Simmons Drums] SDS9 start up problems Hi all, my first post to this user group, I have an SDS9 module which has been with me since new but only recently brought out of retirement after about 10 years of being locked away in a cardboard box. The problem I have is that at power on the unit flashes once (all leds and displays) and then the display flashes a single number 6 and then seems to shut down with nothing displaying and no leds luminated. I have replace the onboard 3.6 V battery but still the same, any ideas? Thanks for any help, Regards, Trevor
