Re: How do I trigger both Snare and Rim on SDS9?

2007-09-17 by devilsynth

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and i've also Just bought an SDS9 and pads. I had the same head
scratching moment, as externally the pads look identical, so i reasoned I was missing a
snare pad, so i peeked inside and spotted some extra wiring. I've yet to hook up the full
rig, though i've tested the brain, and apart from a few electronic niggles and noisy pots it
works. I'm assured the pads trigger ok. On the outside it looks a little shabby though with
all the discolouration of off white.beige plastic, I was thinking about re-spraying, so i'd
appreciate it if anyone had any comments on this. I intend to restore 'her' to former electro
glories.
