Believe it or not - yes... and at a rediculous price if you think about it's history. I guess most people have search engines running for SDS-V, SDS-7 etc so they missed out on this. The only other guy interested in a Simmons friend in Holland (still on the list?) but he kindly backed away to avoid a bid war. Plus, the picture was crappy and the seller hadn't got a clue so it more looked like a typo in the auction than the actual unit... And yes, I will, I _will_, take some better shots than the few already circulating the net. BTW, I just received an answer from Bob Henrit so he's still alive and kicking and I'll check if there is more "ancient info " to get from him. =) electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se www.myspace.com/machinepop ----- Original Message ----- From: "jason_barth" <jason_barth@...> To: <Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thursday, September 13, 2007 11:50 PM Subject: [Simmons Drums] Re: Bob Henrit and Simmons Did you get it off Ebay? --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, <jesper@...> wrote: > > Hi list! > > I finally am a happy owner of the Complete Simmons Drum Book by Bob Henrit. > I've read the history chapter and it feels good indeed to read the few lines > about the SDS-2 and realise that it really must be that very SDS-2 I have in > the studio... :) > > From the same seller I got "Electronic Drums" incl. a demo record.
