No, they don't have a piezo, only the bass drum and as rim shot. They have a printed coil and a carbon foil, contacting when being hit. Constructed with materials like in the SDS7s Selector pad or in the silicon mallet. This is the reason, why there is no crosstalk and no influence by loud bass-players. The surface is a very soft rubber and has a good playing feel. Michael
