Thanks, Jesper, for giving me the courage to plug in a regular old switch to the hi-hat input it worked great, and I got inspired to explore further. I¹m triggering my SDSV with the outputs of a Vermona DRM1 mk2, and I found that plugging the audio output of an unused sound of the Vermona works fine as a hi-hat switch, too, so I change from open to closed just with a MIDI note. Most exciting, though, is that the pedal input really seems just like a plan old CV input I can open and close the hi-hat with mod wheel, touch pad info etc. from my Voyager success! Now all I need is a set of SDSV riot shield pads anyone got a set in good condition for trade or sale? Oh, and Thomas Dolby isn¹t as forgotten as you might think. He¹s gotten his act back together and is taking it on the road all digital, but still kool: http://www.thomasdolby.com/ Peace and love, Ed -- Ed Goldfarb Madcap Labs (415) 377-5831 madcaplabs@... http://www.madcaplabs.com AIM: madcaplabs [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
