Exactly what i wanted to know! Now that i know i'm not the only one in this situation, it's probably not a defect... well... it is, but they were probably not ment to work together. It's probably why they don't mention the SDS-8 very often in the MTM user's manual... I will try directly connecting to one channel in the sequencer input. If it works, i'll just have to make a sequencer input jack to five 1/4" (TS) jacks rig. Thanks for your response Michal, Norm. --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, Michal Kirmuc <mkirmuc@...> wrote: > > Now I sorry for very long delay :) > > I have the same problem, and I use low sensivity in SDS8. I think you right, it must be problem with voltage. But I think if you use "sequencer input" in your SDS8, everything should be ok. Theoretically, 'couse I don't do this yet. When I use "sequencer input" in my SDSV and SDS7 I haven't any problems. Of course SDSV & SDS7 has normal jack inputs, unfortunately SDS8 don't. > > Regards, > Michal K. > > norm2600 <norm2600@...> wrote: > Sorry for the long delay, i was busy and didn't take the time to come > and see if i had answers. > Thanks for your response (waveterm_b and mkirmuc). > > Well, here are the details: > > When i plug an MTM trigger output (any channel) to an SDS-8 pad > input, the SDS-8 input triggers constantly (sounds like a train).
