Hello Jesper. I don't quite agree with you - or maybe I just don't understand what you mean by PC rascals. Why shouldn't they have the real sound? Just because they have a tool that can give them the sound of Simmons doesn't necessarily mean they can make proper music with it, right? For me, there wouldn't be a difference between turning knobs on my computer and turning knobs on a piece of hardware. That might be because I have never owned a Simmons kit (although I have had a chance to buy a SDS V and a SDS 7 (defective, that's why I didn't buy it). But when even hardcore analog purists have a hard time telling the difference between a softsynth and the real thing, I think that a software version of the Simmons kits would be a great idea as I expect it would come very close to the original.
