Oh I see from a later reply that this info might come too late for
Ken, but the answer is "yes".  The factory presets are set with
trimmers next to each pot on the main board.  My guess is that some
time in this module's life, they got redefined.  Even the volume and
pan settings might be fixable.

I gather that the "user" patches sound normal?  They and the presets
use the exact same synthesis circuits.
