Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi Group,

Thought I'd let you know, I just scored an SDSV! I only paid
£90!($180) out of a local classifieds website - Its completely trashed
though, PSU has melting capacitors, half the buttons are stuck, the
case is battered (but is a silver rackmount case) and everything is
absolutely filthy - I am going to spend a day restoring it to it's
former glory and sussing how to integrate it into my sequencing setup.
Only problem is the Bass module is missing :¬( 

I just wondered if anybody has a SDSV Bass module for sale or would be
willing to swap for a snare/tomtom module if you have an extra bass
module you're not using I can send you a blanking plate.

Does anybody have the bass card schematics or, since the cards are
based on the same PCB with a couple of different resistor/capacitor
values, any idea which components to switch - I'd be really grateful
if someone could have a peek at their SDSV Bass module and tell me
which components are changed or take some high resolution photos. If I
find out I will post the information in the group, as I think it would
be really useful to many people.
