Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Thanks everyone for your suggestions etc with the SDS8.....after a 
couple of phone calls and some info on this list from Adam my SDS8 is 
taking a little cross country trip to Logitronics in Melbourne. The 
guy I spoke to on the phone was very confident it could be fixed 
easily and seemed *very* familiar with the SDS8 having done repairs 
for Pseudo Echo several times.

There are probably other service techs in Australia that could fix it 
but none in Brisbane that know the machine. The guy I bought it off 
will refund freight which is better than nothing I guess. Oh well, 
the perils of Ebay. Bugger. I'll keep you all posted on the outcome. 
Nice to see all these Aussie synth/ new wave freaks coming out of the 
woodworks BTW....
