Prices of new eproms are rediculously high. Snatching them from old computers etc are highly recommended. I know for a fact that there are different voltages used etc. Not sure which is what 'cause the ones I've tried in mine are working fine. *checking* The ones I have which I know work and are used are NEC D27128D, ST M27256-2FI (damn, big one!) etc but I cannot read the brand of my original Simmons ones. The type number is HN4827128G-25 and HN482764G. Don't know if I made anything easier there... should probably have shut up! ;) electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se Order your own copy of the Machinepop/Imiafan split-EP at www.electronic-obsession.se/label.asp "Folk med riktiga skivsamlingar har riktiga spelare" (Daniel Araya) ----- Original Message ----- From: "tdecker1271" <tom@...> To: <Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Saturday, January 13, 2007 5:26 PM Subject: [Simmons Drums] Question about SDS EPB + Chips > Ok, so I finally got my hands on a working SDS EPB, and a bunch of > blank 27128 EPROMS.
