Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I have a techie question. What are the differences between the flat
older pads (like the SDS V or SDS 8) and teh newer shaped pads (like
the SDS 9 or SDS 1000? Is there different resistance or other
technical aspects to the triggers?
