considering selling my sds7 kit

2007-01-05 by troffmeister2000

Hi all

firstly my kit is pictured in the photo gallery in "Rogers SDS7
@20YRS OLD"

I am 38 years old and have owned this sds7 from new , whan i
purchased it at age 16 :-)

currently the kit has been in storage for the last 18 months , each
item individulally bubble wrapped for protection, and stored in
wardrobe space in my spare bedroom.

The room in the pictures became my 18 month old daughters room , and
is no longer my drum room - sob ! (

anyway its unlikely the kit will see the light of day for another
few years , due to the possibility of a 2nd child etc

i don't need to sell the kit , and can continue to store it , but for
the right price , and a new good home - i may well bite the bullet
and let it go !

so firstly , how much is it realistically worth in uk pounds ? £

i don't want to ebay sell it , i hate ebay , and if i sell it , buyer
will have to collect its bulky and heavy - i am based in st.albans
herts in the uk - approx 20 miles north of london just off the m1 /
m25 motorways .

the kit is immaculate ,it has gigged a few times , we me keeping
guard over it , also it has been well cared for , cleaned polished
etc over the years .

i am the only player of this kit and the original owner - i even have
the shop purchase receipt for it still - lol

the only damage to the drums themselves - is a few minor scratches ,
so the shells and drum heads are in very good condition , as well as
all the metal work stands etc

i am not interested in breaking the kit up for sale - if it goes it
goes as a complete working kit to a new good home i hope.

To confirm what i am not selling

the carlsbro amplifier
hit hat cymbals and peddles
2 cymbals and stands
drum stool
bass drum foot pedal

the kit comprises the following - being offered for sale

simmons ziff socket , u can flip a small lever to quickly change over
an eprom chip to a replacement - see mega kit below.

sds7 selector pad

2 pearl silver stands

4 sds7 pads
1 sds7 bass drum pad with silver support legs
