I also think we should leave the fighting to Dave Simmons himself. But as we all know, Bob Moog had a hell of a time getting his name back... But regarding vintage and drumming etc, I'm no drummer, I mainly program my beats, but being an electronic analogue gearhead Simmons is right up my alley. A drum sound that sounds like an acoustic set is a failure to me unless that's what I'm looking for. electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se Order your own copy of the Machinepop/Imiafan split-EP at www.electronic-obsession.se/label.asp "Folk med riktiga skivsamlingar har riktiga spelare" (Daniel Araya) ----- Original Message ----- From: "supergeekz" <david@...> To: <Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, December 08, 2006 12:28 AM Subject: [Simmons Drums] Re: Dave Simmons' message about the SDk5 !!! >I personally have no interest in Simmons legacy or even drumming for > that matter, just offering my expertise with trademarks.
