Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I have an SDS 1000 and an SDS 8 controller. When I use the SDS 8
all is perfect, I get sensitivity from the pads, great sounds, etc.
If I plug in the SDS 1000 controller I have to crank the sensitivity
all the way up and still wack the drums pretty hard to get a decent
trigger. I love the sounds of the SDS 1000 and would like to use
it. Any ideas on a solution?
