A brain that only controls 1 pad???? And it has 2 knobs (1 is JUST volume, nothing else) & 1 button...gotta be a confusing son of a gun to use that UI (and I thought the DM Pro had a small LCD screen lol)! And I can see that the pad has multiple zones, but for what it does, and for the price, doesn't seem much to it...I'll let Danny Carey suss it out for me, I am sure he has the extra grand to blow on toys! And from the looks of it, he is only using the 1 pad, not a whole kit like the SDX...maybe replaced his wave drum with a "new toy", i dunno. Chances are he got it free just so they could use his name as an endorsement...that's the way it goes... In no way, shape, or comparison will this replace the SDX...ever. Just my opinion. --- In Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com, allen edmonds <tommygun421@...> wrote: > > $999+ s&h For one pad ???
