Bad idea - I guess you'd want dynamic control - right? Then the MC-4 isn't the best choice + that it's messy to program. If dynamics isn't a big thing but mdi is I'd suggest some of the homebrew stuff occasionally sold on Ebay or even a Kenton with Kadi out (that's what I use since I'm modifying my midi2sdsII). The latter is also available again soon I think... Paul? If dynamics are important I'd certainly suggest the midi2sds. But that means you need a midi sequencer anyway... well... How about an analogue step sequencer then? What's your setup now? Are you a drumming drummer och a sequencing synthgeek? This list tend to be dividable in those two categories... ;) electronically yours, jesper - sequencing synthgeek - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se ----- Original Message ----- From: "pigletdad40" <pigletdad40@...> To: <Simmons_Drums@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Monday, April 03, 2006 3:14 AM Subject: [Spam] [Simmons Drums] Sequencers and non-Midi Simmons units > Hello hexaphiles, > > I have been watching e-bay as most of you do from time to time and I keep > seeing this > SDS - 6 that is being offered at 1499.00.
