Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

I had the problem that I got two SDS6 which were both damaged by
leakage of old AAA batteries which had already been removed. The SDS6
needs 3.6V for holding the internal memory so the former owner used
three 1.2V AAA batteries in series. I used a native 3.6V lithium
battery. But this is only for the SDS6!
Normally the old battery should be inside your device so just open the
chassis and have a look.
