Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi 

I just joined the group.

A friend just gave me an sds9 brain which has a few problems.   I`m a 
trained tech but mainly deal with analogue gear,& don`t do digital 
too much. I am hoping with a few pointers from you folk to fix it to 
go with my TMI.

Problems so far:

1.  Some of the switches have been robbed to repair another unit.  
Does anyone know which switches are a replacement available from a UK 
supplier preferably.
2. A UK supplier of replacement pots please.
3.  The Snare works, the toms are silent, & I get a low buzz out of 
the kick drum. The buzz comes out of kick individual out & the mix 
out but no other sockets. On opening up the unit I find that 2 chips 
have been pulled out. There are DILs maybe 20 pin on the far right 
hand side of the board.  I took the numbers down but stupidly left 
them at my workshop. 

Any help would be useful & if someone has the diagram that would be 
really useful
