Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hello; 

Does anyone know how I can trigger my SDS-1000 & SDS-8, both without 
MIDI, from the zendrum I will be purchasing?? (www.zendrum.com) I have 
heard of things like the SIMMONS MTM, but how about something more 
current?  Would the MIDI KITI from alternate mode work for this?  In 
case you are not familiar, the ZENDRUM is a MIDI controller without 
trigger outs, as far as I know.
