QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi Folks, 
   I am considering the purchase of the Quad-tone rip for my Epson Stylus 9500.
I would be using the K6 neutral ink-set. I quickly looked at the tutorial and I see USB
info but nothing for Firewire. Does the Rip support firewire connection? The only other
connection is the old style Parallel printer cable. I would be pleased to here from someone 
with this experience

Hey again Folks, 
    I am partly answering my own question. Mac OSX will not work because of a Mac 
problem. PC Should.
    I am in a unique situation. I have moved and so everything I own is in storage. 
So I will not be able to test anything for almost a month. But Before I buy K6 inks and 
flushing carts and a new rip I would still like to hear back from someone. I talked to 
another source who says if I have the Epson Firewire drivers that firewire should 
work on a windows platform. Does anyone really know?

You'll be fine with the fire wire.. Fire wire, usb , parallel and a 
networked printer are all basically similar in the sense that they 
are all ports once they are established .. Establish the port using 
your epson drivers then use that port with the rip.
