John, All Plan B modules are labeled for correct connection. The flat power cables included with your modules have a red stripe on one side. All Plan B modules are labeled "Red Band This End" on one side of the board. Line up the labeling on the board and the red stripe on the cable and plug them in. Just that easy. We also recommend picking up a Model 1 protected power supply. Accidents happen and modules get plugged in backwards, but this little baby makes sure nothing gets damaged!
