Modular Synth Panels

Hello out there, I realize this isn't the forum for this but it's the only one I'm a member of 
that someone might know something about this. I wanted to get some sheilded cable for 
my patchcords and I ended up ordering coaxial cable, 75 ohms by mistake. So I've got 50 
feet of this vcr-looking cable. I don't know anything about it. Does anyone know if it 
would be ok to use it for patch cords and general audio use? What does the 75 ohms refer 
to?

The 75 ohm impedance refers to its characteristics at radio 
frequencies.  It is normally used for video and TV antenna 
applications.  You could use it for patch cords if you wanted to, but 
this type of cable is usually not very flexible.
