>I really think the Doomsday machine panel should be next ;) Me too. I have posted details about the non-standard 3U panel layout here: http://www.tellun.com/motm/diy/tln712/TLN-712_panel_spec.pdf It's a regular grid, just a bit different than standard MOTM in the pot area.

And, for that matter, Will and I (with some help from Scott Juskiw) put this standard MOTM panel design together: http://www.dragonflyalley.com/images/TELLUN712/tellun712-V5image.jpg It's 5U wide, but has room for Sine outputs Scott told us he'd left off the 3U design for lack of space. It's big, but we're not super-cramped for space - this is how we'll build it - and there are several other builders who are looking to this "standard MOTM" design. Scott, Doesn't that pot arrangement mean hacking a pot mounting bracket? John Loffink The Microtonal Synthesis Web Site http://www.microtonal-synthesis.com The Wavemakers Synthesizer Web Site http://www.wavemakers-synth.com

Yes, it does. I know those stainless steel brackets are a bear to drill, but it can be done. I believe I also used some tin snips on the bracket. >Doesn't that pot arrangement mean hacking a pot mounting bracket?

I was able to build mine with no bracket hacking - I just used two of the bridechamber 3 pot brackets - only had to do some minor adjustments with some tin snips. This was with Scott's non-motm-standard pot spacing, along with my fpd design. There's a bit of space between the two brackets, which didn't seem to affect the rigidity of the assembly too much, but just for good measure I put some duct tape between them - this is my first chance to use duct tape in any of my modular projects, and it's about time! --- In ModularSynthPanels@yahoogroups.com, Scott Juskiw <scott@...> wrote:

Scott, will your doomsday panel have the sine outputs? ;)

And, for that matter, Will and I (with some help from Scott Juskiw)
put this standard MOTM panel design together:

It's 5U wide, but has room for Sine outputs Scott told us he'd left
off the 3U design for lack of space. It's big, but we're not
super-cramped for space - this is how we'll build it - and there are
several other builders who are looking to this "standard MOTM" design.

Hello all, I'm packing PCB orders today and I noticed that there's just ONE Doomsday Machine left. Anyone want to make my day and take this off my hands? I'm not saying I'll never get anymore of these made, but I have no plans to get any more made this year. There could be more made in 2009 or later if there's enough demand. If not, then this is the last one. More info can be found here: http://www.tellun.com/motm/diy/tln712/TLN-712.html

I'll take it if it is still available. $32? ( it needs to be shipped to 98266 - Northwestern Washington. Thanks!
