Modular Synth Panels

Hi Group,

Schaeffer/FPE have come to an agreement on the order. We will get the
panels in the original order for the same cost as from Germany. They
will also take 15% off each black panel and we will save a lot on
shipping/import cost of course. I don't think they'll let us add to
the order, but I did ask. Christian at FPE seems to have a lot more
time than Kai in Germany; now that he knows what Kai is willing to
do, he's very quick w/ replies and of course we can now use the
phone. The ball should start rolling faster now.

So, barring further negotiation stalls :), the panels should be in
your hands within two weeks. Sorry for the delay, but it seems we'll
be saving quite a bit.

I'm also trying to work out some kind of discount for future orders
from us, too, though I'm trying to get it for each of us
_individually_, so we can each order our own panels in the future.

Hi Group,

The order is finally in progress. FPE just got the raw panels a
couple hours ago, and they're starting work today. Some or all of the
panels will be shipped from there when they're done. I'll get back to
you all on the final costs once we figure that out.

ps feel free to post some pictures of completed panels in the Files
section. I'd do it, but... ok, I have 16 bit graphics right now, and
I won't get into a rant against Windows again, I won't! ;)
