I just uploaded three CGS Files. I have created a sub folder in the
CGS section entitled CGS cstella to avoid confusion with scott and
jeff's files. These 3 are adaptations of the nice work that scott and
jeff have already done. Thanks for all the help and please let me
know if there are any errors.

1. CGS 5U Gate Seq (this design was already posted and discussed)

2. CGS 1U Burst generator

This is an adaptation of Jeff's design. Changes are:

a. 8mm pushbutton trigger
b. 3mm activity LED's to the left and right of 'Clock Speed' text.
Holes are 4.32mm for VCC 3mm LED Holders.
c. The number '5' was added to the 12 o'clock pot positions
d. Text to .2mm tool
e. Tick marks to 'use .4mm tool'
f. I'm too sexy Red Finish
g. 'Burst Generator CGS06' text realigned. I thought the rack screws
might obscure text.

3. CGS 2U Quad Analog Drum

This is an adaptation of Scott's design. Changes are:

a. Pot holes to 3/8"
b. Fixed some minor text/hole alignments
c. Changed legending around Trigger In's and Outputs.
d. Text to .2mm
e. Red Finish

These will be my portion of the upcoming order (one of each). Scott
please let me know how to proceed. All the best, Charles.

Charles,

1) Which 8mm pushbotton are you using?
2) Which VCC 3mm LED holder are you using?

Thanks

dave

charles,

thanks again for catching those misalignments.
i'll add these panels to the order, and i'll let you know how much the cost
is when i find out.

thanks,
scott

I either use the illuminated  NKK HB Series available from mouser (#633-hb15skw01) or EAO Series 19 for pushbuttons. Both require 8mm mounting. You will have to order the Lens Caps and LED's separately. The 3mm VCC LED holders are mouser # 593-1900R. The last letter designates color. Best, Charles.

Charles,

1) Which 8mm pushbotton are you using?
2) Which VCC 3mm LED holder are you using?

Thanks

dave

1U cgs pulse divider/logic (tentative)

2002-10-29 by Jeffrey Pontius

Hi growing list of panelers (we started with 6, I think, now 30)

I uploaded a (tentative) 1U motm style panel design for Ken's pulse
divider/boolean logic. I think it has most everything: missing are led's
for AND and OR sections (I'm not sure how useful they would be to me -
opinions?), and one of the inverter sections. The 0.5" hole in the top
left is for an E-Switch pushbutton.

file: cgs.pulse.divider.fpd

[Maybe Charles has a good idea to start using subdirectories in the CGS
directory?]

I would appreciate any comments/corrections. In particular, do you think
that using text color reasonably differentiates the logic sections in the
right hand module side?

Thanks, Jeff

As this module would be most commonly used for generating gate signals I
believe the LEDs would be very useful.
