a friend of mine keeps on calling my Roland CR-8000 a "digital pot scale", but i don't think that's exactly what you're looking for.

By scales, I assume you mean tic marks and legends?
I have templates on my site. Don't know if they're 'decent' but I use them for all my panels. There is also a template for a smaller 3/4 size that I use as well.

Yes, tickmarks. I also found at http://www.frontpanelexpress.com/support/tips-tricks/index.html a java
program that generates linear and circular ticks. Now for the Big
Problem. All those pots with tick marks is making the price of the panel
go way up. I seem to recall a few people in the hobby as having the
ability to make panels from FPD files. There was Stooge Panels, but that
seems to have gone away. Narwhal was another who also seems to have gone.
Is there anyone else?
