Are there any Thomas Henry MPS panels available, or perhaps in the works?
Thanks,
Dan

Thanks Scott – looks great, though I haven’t built my own yet so can’t comment on the completeness or other layout issues.
One trivial thing I did pick up though – I believe its name is the Mega PERCUSSIVE Synthesizer, and not the Mega PERCUSSION Synthesizer.

I'll probably start the ball rolling Friday for the metal order.
Should I put electro-music.com somewhere on there?

I took the liberty of posting the design also to the electro-music. com MPS thread for feedback, for folks who are there and not on this group... Probably would be nice to add electro-music. com on there....

I think with this one you'll really want the input attenuator - if I recall correctly the full on setting gets some pretty extreme distortion. I got to play with some of these a bit back in the 70's.
Personally I vote for small pots, 1U, and I highly recommend staggered pots - like these - http://www.flickr. com/photos/ sduck409/ 4006341916/

Hmmm, maybe I should send him someth... oh, never mind.
The plaque bearer is a strange beast, one that I haven't used that much yet actually. It occupies some of the same territory as the 510 wavewarper - you can be running something through it, and not be terribly impressed by the results, and then you touch one of the knobs and it goes SSSSSQQQWWWWRRUUONK KKKK and everything's good, and then you try to make it more so and it's gone. However, considering you can get 85% of the back end of the module for some 40$, an affordable panel would probably be a good idea.
You might want to check with the Flight of Harmony guy - I seem to recall that he expressed some interest in producing 5U versions in the future - maybe you could get together with him on that?
Hey guys, Scott wants to know if there's any interest - raise your hands!
