I built one last year and it didn't seem to do too much. I figured
that I was either using it wrong or there was a problem with my build.
Then I got distracted by the 10 or so other projects that I seem to
have going on at any one time and forgot about it.
Dave, can you describe a simple patch that will allow me to see if
mine working?
thanks!

I finished my Jersker recently but haven't had time to add it to my
website. Yours sounds healthy enough. I did not see a freeze with
mine, going very slowly, but can't say yet that it won't. What happens
to the output when it freezes? Does it just stop? Does it migrate
toward a high or low voltage? Have you tried different LM13700 chips?
It's quite an interesting sine wave generator. I wish it had a fine
tune pot on the rate, which is very wide range and sensitive. I'll be
experimenting with it and making some recordings that I will add when I
put it up on my website.

I noticed that if the Gain is turned down too
far, the outputs drift
toward the negative and freeze. If the Gain is high enough, the Rate
will go very low without freezing. Yes, a 10-turn pot for the Rate
sounds like a good idea. Here's a link to a recording I made today. It
may surprise you, the way I harnessed the chaos and put it to musical
effect.
