Hi Logan,

Still here, working hard on that last batch of panels, or I was until I ran
out of jacks. Now I'm out of cash because I got all those panels... :)

Since the group buy, I have already received three more panels
directly from Front Panel Express. It was a fast turn-around time
and identical quality to Schaeffer. I got the discount rates for
MOTM panels group members, 10% above $100, 15% above $200.

I just uploaded two more files to my directory, Richard Brewster
Designs, in the files section. One is for the Cat Girl Synth
Infinite Melody module. I just received this panel and can't wait to
put it all together. I added an internal clock and white noise
source. The other new panel is yet another Blacet Mini-Wave, of
which I have two on order. My version of the Mini-Wave panel
includes a 4-jack multiple. It has a layout for the LEDs that aligns
them with the corresponding WAVE and BANK pots. The LEDs mount in
1/4" holes with normal sized LED housings that I get from Radio
Shack. I like to be able to disassemble the whole panel and so my
LEDs have to be easy to remove.

After I build the Mini-Waves I will be finished with my custom MOTM
panel work for a while at least. My master synthesizer plan is done
and my two 26-U wide Synthesizers.com cabinets with Stooge rails is
all filled out. After I get and build all my back ordered modules
from Synthesis Technology, it will be complete.

Hi, Stooge Larry (normally quiet on this list) chiming in with a
question for the group.

I know this group was created for the purpose of obtaining group buys
and sharing info on design for Schaeffer panels. Hence my need to
ask this question.

Moe and I have found a way to cut our turn around time down
drastically. We will be soon running panels again. My question is
does anyone have any objection to my mentioning the availability of
our product on this list? I do no want to intrude or appear to be
pushing our product over Schaeffer. I think each has good and bad
points. But, I also wanted to let people here know when stuff was
available if they were interested. I always annouce to the MOTM
list. So, maybe everyone here is a MOTM list subscriber and this
question is not necessary.

Stooge Larry (the other black panel). :)

Sounds good, Larry. Any kind of front panel availability is why the group
was started. Can you do pink panels, though? ;p

How much is Visio software, by the way? That's what you use to design,
right?

It would be great to have the Stooges on this list for discussing and
finding out who has common interests in custom panels. I've been using
CoralDraw for my Stooge panels.

Thanks Scott. Paul and I do not exactly see eye-to-eye on what
panels Dave and I should make. So, we have two lists of panels that
are made for MOTMers. One is a public list that everyone in MOTM
land can see and freely talk about on the list. There is a second
list of "private" panels. Yes, I will make them. And, Paul is OK as
long as he does not have to see discussion about it on the list.
Examples of there might be the Oakly Equinoxe or Blacet Mixer we did
in the last round. Being able to let this group know about the
"private" list without discussing them openly on Paul's list might be
good. Now, there are a few panels that I simply won't make because I
think they would be harmful to something Paul sells. But, that is
why you guys have Schaeffer. :)

We do our front panel design with Corel Draw. Dave does all the work
in that area. We use version 7.0 because we were able to buy those
NOS older versions on e-bay for $20 each I think. But, never
versions will let you save to the older 7.0 version.

> Oh, and I just received a batch of Stooge panels -- beautiful!

Thanks Scott.

P.S. If you want pink panels, we can make them :) However, it was
never our intention to get into colors. (I know you were just
joking). But, our goal is to as closely as possible match Paul's
finish. In that respect, we are one up on the other good panel
company. :)
