I Noticed that a few days ago and have been eagerly awaiting its release but on his site he mentioned nothing about it aside from a nice picture of his setup with him wearing his cow skull!  Where'd you order from?

But if you'd like one now, check out the order page at
www.bridechamber.com
It counts as "parts in an envelope" : )

With tunes like "Masonic Sadness Vortex" and "Turnip & Radish", how can

Or, to not be so obtuse:
$11 postpaid, Paypal sales@...

See, if I just put stuff on my website like a normal person, then you'd
all expect professionalism from me.
Not gonna happen!

"And only one ambient tune!"

That's definitely the selling point that hooked me!
It seems more often than not too many people get hooked on the dreamy wall of atmosphere that can easily be conjured up on a modular.
I love all the rest of his stuff so I'm excited to hear more on what Mr. Davie can do with nothing but his babies!

Also excited you've got a record label going too!  Busy Busy Bee:)

that's funny because for ambient textures i use a simple one-osc
tones from a Korg Z1 or a Juno-6 fed into an Eventide H3000SE and
then into a looping delay. the modular makes me want to be rhythmic.

who (with the exception of Michael Stearns) makes ambient textures
with a modular? i'm not being argumentative, i'm honestly curious.
Robert Rich and Steve Roach only use their modulars for rhythmic
elements, and they're the only two Hearts Of Space composers other
than Stearns who i'm aware use modular synthesisers.

i forgot to include the caveat "back in the 70s and 80s", because he
hasn't owned the Serge for a very long time.

there's also Chris McDonald aka Telomere (Serge) though Astral
Currents was 1998 and offhand i don't know whether he's done anything
else

Robert Rich (MOTM) counts too.

Uh-oh, let's not do it! Not a genre discussion --- noooooo.... I'm
sorry!
; )

I thought ambient could be rhythmic, not just textural.
But I don't really know. Don't listen to me. Forget I used the 'a' word!

Yea, didn't mean to wake up an old war or anything, but I was kinda referring to rhythmic style Tangerine Dreamy style music as well as ambient if you make a distinction between the two.  Some people I can name off the bat are:
Richard Lainhart
Robert Rich
Morbius
Jeffrey Pontius
Morton Subotnick
+many others, but I've gotta get outa work right now and go work on some other stuff for a while.
***I'm not meaning to throw out a big diss on any genre of any sorts and don't mean to start any ping pong email wars...I do love my share of ambient and cinematic music!!!****

Dave Wright rocks the soldering iron, but he also rocks the patch
cord! Kudos to Scott for recognizing that.

howthewestwaswon is sick! "Got Thomas Henry?" in there, Dave?

I need a CD.

John (already a Not Breathing fan)
