CGS Synthacon Panels

2007-12-22 by gino wong

I was running around looking for my Steiner CGS Synthacon boards and
think I may have cleaned them up into the circular file. I them
realised that one of the best and easist to build filters has no off
the shelf panel available except Laurie's Elby Euro version.

It would be an easy one, Not expensive. Maybe we could get
Bridechamber to stock it and STG to design it (the boy is a gifted
panel designer and is geekily into it unlike anyone else including
Deyo).

BTW, Paul Perry is a very good guy, his gear is great and he has a
gentlemans attitude toward his work and the people he deals with.

would be swell if bridechamber decided to do a run of MOTM-format
panels, but i can't imagine needing yet more new designs... there
are at least 8 in the files section of this group; both brewster and
stoogepanels have designs posted; the euro-version is pretty much
dictated by the layout of the euro PCBs and is available from elby,
and i have a frac adaptation of that design available at my
website.

I've got a Synthacon design ready to roll.
I hope to "catch up" on CGS in MOTM format by mid-2008, as well as
MFOS, Oakley, Tellun, and everyone else in the whole world!!!!
DotCom will follow, with a small lag that I hope to get rid of.

And yeah, for Euro look to Elby.

Cheers,
