Do mean transistors instead of CMOS? Or tube logic? : )
I remember doing searches for analog computers on eBay, and there were 
some interesting old kits out there.

I think Ken used that word -- it's funny! What the hell is it? Maybe 
summed subdivision that isn't quite pulled off right? Stairness: "The 
Real, Imperfect-though-Interesting Result of the Ideal Circuit's 
Behavior"?
