For those that are searching for parts and/or information, here is a collection of internet resources. I have not had business dealings with all of these companies, so I can not tell you if their service is good, acceptable, or to stay away from them. When I'm looking for a part that is pricy, I check all of them. Good deals are sometimes found in strange places! Also, at the bottom of the list is a very good resource for finding data on parts, be sure to check it out. Search multiple mainline distributors (VERY handy! Includes Allied, Digi-Key, Mouser, Jameco, JDR, and Newark). You can look for parts other then IC's if you have a manufacturers part number. I have used this to find the best prices on the Bournes pots used by MOTM.: http://www.findchips.com/ Futurlec (not to be confused with Future Electronics!): http://www.futurlec.com/index.shtml Small Bear Electronics: http://www.smallbearelec.com/home.html Abra Electronics (good source for 4xxx CMOS): http://www.abra-electronics.com/ BG Micro: http://www.bgmicro.com/ Debco Electronics OnLine: http://www.debcoelectronics.com/ Electronix Express: http://www.elexp.com/index.htm Unicorn Electronics (good source for 4xxx CMOS): http://www.unicornelectronics.com/ Tubes at Vintage Tube Services: http://vintagetubeservices.com/ Tubes at Antique Electronic Supply: http://www.tubesandmore.com/ Find Diode, Transistor, IC, and ... Data sheets, including many old and obsolete parts! This is one of the most useful sites I've found if you need or want data on a part: http://www.alldatasheet.com/
