As far as the rounded
corners, I don't think it makes much visual
difference, at least with black rack rails behind them. Black on black
isn't that noticeable. I suppose you might notice the corners more if
they were affixed to wood. The first rounded corner panels I saw came
from Oakley. Frankly, I don't see much benefit to them.
On my FPE panels, I have started to put a very small radius (small enough to not be obvious to the eye) rounding on my panel corners for practical, rather than aesthetic reasons – it eliminates a fairly sharp pointy corner. Not much of an issue when the panel is in your cabinet, but during handling/repositioning, really sharp edges can be an annoyance.
