There's an additional benefit to boring-your-own that Will and I realised last night - has to do with the switch holes. See - we'd really prefer, for the momentary switches, to use the NKK bat-style that matches the all the other MOTM switches rather than a push-button. So if the switch holes were all a minimum size, too, or a 1/8" pilot hole, people could make their own decisions about this kind of thing too. Now, in our case, we'd already figured we'd use a couple washers to do the trick, but if there are small holes, we don't have to. <shrug> --- In ModularSynthPanels@...m, "loopcycle" <loopcycle@...> wrote: > > quick note about this poll: assume that bridechamber panels were punched for a small hole already (one that would either A) accommodate the smallest part for that function, or B) would just be a small "pilot" hole in which everyone would be required to step-drill out themselves.) > > scott, if you can't do this or are not willing, just let me know and ill pull the poll. im polling this question as a follow up to the previous poll. > > > --- In ModularSynthPanels@yahoogroups.com, ModularSynthPanels@yahoogroups.com wrote: > > > > Are you able and/or willing to bore punched Bridechamber panels out to meet your own hardware requirements? > > > > o No (able OR willing) > > o Yes (able AND willing) > > >
