I was going to ask if you tried Fastenal but they only have zinc finishes...

Grainger does have some nice cap-head screws but being Grainger, you are not
looking at the "good price" aspect.

Fastenal generally charges a couple bucks for 100 small machine screws.
Grainger is asking $14.37 for item 6CE31 which is 100 of the following
description:

Socket Head Cap Screw, 12.9 Alloy Steel, Furnace Black Finish, Hex Socket,
Thread Size M2X0.40mm, Drive Size 1.5mm, Decimal Equivalent 0.079 In, Thread
Type Metric, Fully Threaded, Right Hand Thread Direction, Length Under Head
6mm, Head Height 2mm, Head Dia 3.8mm, Thread Class 5g6g, Rockwell Hardness
C39-C44, Min Tensile Strength 176,900 PSI, Meets DIN 912/ISO 4762, Package
100

Good luck!
Dave

Very soon... I'm out of screws for mounting the sliders.
Oddly, M2 5mm black screws are hard to find at a good price.
