I labeled the inputs as A and B and the outputs of my Quad Logic Gates as A+B. I meant the + symbol to be generic, knowing that I might change the chip, which indeed I did. http://pugix.com/synth/catgirl-synth-pulse-divider/ I recommend using an I.C. socket for the logic chip, so that you can try different ones. My favorite is the CD4077, XNOR. I use it often as a pulse inverter (mine go +/-5V) with just the A input and the A+B output. It does digital ring modulation using both inputs. Remember, all four gates use the same logic. You would need multiple Quad Logic Gate boards to have a selection of different logic. Still, you can combine logic using the quad. For instance, if you patch an XNOR out to the A input of a second XNOR, the second's output is XOR of the first's inputs.
