a suggestion: this would have worked very well with a set of links
across the middle, similar to what ken stone did on his tube VCA...
this would be sweet for folks building in frac/euro format; also for
folks who might want to build a s/h w/out the noize or vice versa.
just something to think about if you ever do a revision, or see a
similar opportunity in upcoming designs.
