Grant released the #3 standard Wogglebug schematic on his DIY web site and
has posted appreciative comments about folks who built their own.  I would
assume from this that DIY panel efforts are fine.  The Production
Wogglebug is revision 5 or 6 at this point, and it's a dual unit with
extra circuitry for the child tones and (I believe) more outs and ins than
the #3.

If you're really uptight, you should ask.  He may not respond within the
day or even the week  but he will respond :)
