Mary Ann & I are leaving tomorrow morning for a 5 day trip to SLT.Just
curious if anyone has any recommendations on places to see.
I know Greg Walker is only 30 miles from there MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ;-)

Lots of stuff to see and do within a short drive of SLC. E-mail me
off list if you'd like more info.

By the way, the only living 'tron in Utah resides about 80 miles north
of SLC; about an hour's drive. At least it's the only 'tron *I* know
of....

Greg should be in possession of the "Microphonico-tron" (forgot the s/n) that caused nasty feedback at ProgWest a few years ago. If you knocked on the lid you could hear it loud a clear over FOH. Turned out to be the headblock being shorted to the frame, due to a problem with the non-conductive washer on one of the headblock retention springs. Taking it apart and putting it back together right fixed it right up.
He does tend to loan it out a lot so it may not be there...

Interesting details there, Gene. And after pursuing #574 for 20 years
(finally got to take it home last Novemeber) here I was thinking I had
the only known 'tron in the state! Thirty minutes from Salt Lake, I
wonder where Greg Walker calls home?

Looks like he's in American Fork UT, just south of SLC. At least that's where his PO box is...
