Trois Gymnopedies (1) uploaded to my folder on the files area of this
group; various strings, cor anglais, flutes, choir, pizzicato cello and
Korg Synth.

It's reasonably large so I'll get rid of it next week in time for the
next part.

Good arrangement and mix Mike! I am sure that Erik Satie would be
happy to hear it. (He's been dead for 80 years, so he would be happy
to hear you fart. ha)

Debussy and Satie: I didn't know that they were friends.
(from Wikipedia) Satie composed/published Trois Gymnopedies when he
was about 22. Eight years later, Satie's popularity and financial
situation was at an all time low. Debussy decided to orchestrate Trois
Gymnopedies to draw more public attention to the work. Good man
Claude!

Trois Gymnopedies (2) uploaded to my folder on the files area of this
group; Fritz's outstanding chamber woodwinds feature here, as well as
sad strings, three violins, boys choir, and a new cello recording of
mine that is as yet unreleased.

Also - thanks to Clay clearing out some space - Trois Gymnopedies (3) is
also available. This one features flutes, strings, and chamber
woodwinds.

Enjoy. Comments welcomed. I just love these tunes.

I'm sure he would.

I heard the orchestrated versions first but have to confess that I like
the fierce economy of the piano that much better. My takes are sort of
halfway between the two.
