So what happened after the first Gentle Giant album? I wonder, did Kerry

setup?

Dear All,

With a band that can play that many instruments (including violins and
cellos) it would seem they used 'tron where it made sense. Imagine 3 Friends with
M300.

When I saw them live however no 'tron...

PS: For some good concert footage of GG try "Giant on the box" (DVD),
footage of various television stuff from Germany, USA, Italy and weird bit from
Szcene74.
No 'tron again - Clav, Wurly, Hammond and MiniMoog - hardly vast...

I just got "Giant in a Box". It really shows off their musical
versatility. Amazon has two versions with a big price difference. Are
they in fact the same DVDs?

There is a 'Deluxe Edition' which just contains the same content in a
more fancy packaging I think.

Best to buy it from the bands official outlet:

https://secure3.comcat.com/~dbarrett/GG/iagh/order.html

:)

Mine came from play.com (no choices) and includes an audio CD of the German
concert as a bonus...

Oop's Amazon... the more expensive one is the earlier UK edition and
the cheaper one with the full Giant + band image appears to be a more
recent 're-issue, maybe it's a US vesrion?

Strange that the 'deluxe edition' would be cheaper!?

That's the one I have. I got it through Amazon USA, but not directly
from Amazon. They sell it for $44.99. I used the "# used and new"
link and got a new copy for $26.81. Also has an audio CD.

The more expensive one is an import and the original release.
The lower priced one is the USA manufacture & release, produced and
distributed thru Derek Shulmans' own DRT Productions, and includes his
recent appearance on VH-1 which provides some interesting viewing, if only
for the visual shock value of how the years have probably played on us
all.

Beyond that, both sets contain the audio CD and are otherwise exactly the
same.
