new file, ELO

Although I was never a big fan, I'm pretty sure I remember seeing
Mellotron credits on El Dorado, and pretty sure I remember hearing it
too. But, it's been a long time, and my memory tends to edit music
into something I like better than the original.

I just uploaded an MP3 of the Sleepy Truckers' version of The Rain
Song to the "Files" section. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE PERFORMANCE,
but it will serve to demonstrate a little more of my quasi-tron. I
was still experimenting with alternate tunings, and was very
distracted by this particular tuning so I really botched a few parts
of the song. I really do play it much better than this...

Don, it's a big file, feel free to delete it whenever you want to!

Sounds good to me.

You know where the "warts" are. I didn't notice them.

The Mellotron is credited on several albums, but neither it, nor the
string players (they were all replaced by session orchestras) actually
sounded on the recordings! See previous post.

They all appeared on stage though!!
