audio clips

2004-03-29 by JS

I've talked about my love for my little Korg X5D's here previously, and if anybody is interested in hearing my Mellotron and Moog emulations in action, there's a couple of clips of my band now available to hear at www.wichitabandscene.com/Sleepy_Truckers - simply scroll to the bottom of the bio page for full-length versions of Nights In White Satin and Lucky Man. The audio is spotty and doesn't seem to have made the transition to MP3 as well as I would have liked, but it will serve to show why I have so much fun with these little synths!

Nice job on the ending of Lucky Man Jon.

I recall the Ringo Star 2001 tour. Lake was in the band, so they
plated Lucky Man. Howard Jones messed-up the closing solo for about
10 minutes (yuk). Nothing familiar about it at all.

Seeing "thin" Ian Hunter singing ITCOTCK with "fat" Greg was a real
treat.

Hello:

May I suggest you that you redesign your page so it can be viewed with
other OS than Micro$oft Windogs and other browser than Micro$oft
internet explorer?
I would really like to download and hear your music.

Nacho.

I only send plain text, too, but I guess that's not what Yahoo wants to
output, so it gets changed either to rtf (rich text format) or HTML
(it's hard to tell which). Don't know if there's any way around it.

sure there is - edit your membership profile.

and i guess while we are on the topic of group netiquette:

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying way to reply to email?

Yahoo doesn't convert it. If it's in HTML then it was sent that way.

I always liked a quote a friend used to put for a signature on email: "HTML in email is for those people who still think that crayons are an indispensible tool in the communications process." Or words to that effect. Can't give credit fot it, because they weren't his words, and I've forgotten the original author.
