A bit of an announcement.................

Dear All, Today at Streetly we started moving all stock into new premises freeing up space to allow us to further expand the workshop into three distinct areas. We now have a machine shop, renovation and build room and tape dubbing room. These steps have been necessary as demand has outstripped our current facility in it's present form. We are a self sufficient unit producing all things mellotronic. We only buy what we cannot produce in house(plastics, motors etc.). All metalwork is done here. This gives us great flexibilty which we will need for the next phase - building new 'trons. Brian, our resident toolmaker and machinist has new toys to play with and can now tackle any tron related engineering task. As we prepare to go into production we are just about to take delivery of new motors especially designed for us to replace the plethora of tired and gutless ones cluttering our stores. These are permanent magnetic motors with tremendous torque and low current demand. We also have new seamless belts to compliment these. The improved stability is just wonderful. Finally we'd like to thank all of you who have used us over the last few years as you have allowed us to re invest(yes, all the money is in machinery etc. and sadly not in our pockets....yet) and carry the Streetly name forward.
