Dear All,

Now the Sundae Club have been signed (!!!!!) We are trying hard to spend
some of the advance money. A new set of tapes has already reached the
negotiation stage, but we really need to upgrade our rather basic Theremin.
We had decided on a new Signature model from Bob Moog, but upon enquiring at
the UK distributor, (Turnkey, Charing Cross Rd, London) we were informed
that they were no longer imported due to the fact that they caused
aeroplanes to crash.

Is this information, as I suspect... ie "Bollocks" (Baloney) or do they have
a point?

Please can anyone enlighten us?

Chris Dale and his theremin have been known to bring whole parties and
wedding receptions to a screeching, although it is quite amusing to see
half-potted so-and-so's trying their hand on it for the first time...

maybe we'll have to try to smuggle one back..... I can't imagine what would
be in a moog that would worry an airline, unless it has an airtight component
that would have to travel in the hold. or unless the passenger with it
decided to play the thing during the inflight movie... that might be a
laugh.....
