Hi Mattias,
I pulled this cd out yesterday and just noticed that you produced the cd
and assisted them with percussion.Just curious of your thoughts of your
time spent with them.
Pete
p.s.must've cost them a pretty penny to get you from Sweden to Texas!

Hey hey,
Recording the Deadwood Forest was a really great and interesting experience. The guys are really good friends of mine and great players. They flew me over for a month of pre production stuff and then recording. We recorded at a really nice vintage studio in Austin in the middle of the summer...I brought along my Mellotron Tapes and a big case of pedals and percussions...and off we went...
I haven't heard the album in years but I really enjoyed the recording of it even though I would have loved to have spent a bit more time on the mixing and getting the overall sound right...But isn't it always like that ?
You need just a little bit more time to get it...right.
