New sound.................

New sound.................

2007-10-18 by tronbros@aol.com

Hello young lovers,

Very shortly there will be a monster new sound on the Tape Library site
courtesy of Mr Richard Blechta and a lovely lady called Pam. It's a honking
great Baritone Sax - an instrument designed solely to be played from a mellotron
keyboard. Check it out in about 24 hours if Mr Dickson will accommodate.

Best,

Martin and JB

Didn't it ever occur to you that you might have been able to learn to play
the baritone sax in five years?

The new Baritone Sax sound is now available on the Streetly Sambple
Library at the address shown below. Also replaced are the missing sounds
from Fritz 'Doddy' Doddy (Angry Strings and Chamber Woodwinds) and I've
cobbled together a new one for the Plucked Piano.

Enjoy!

Good sound! Almost like sampled farts. I smell a hit!

Isn't it interesting to note that someone's vibrating sphincter* was
required to produce that sound.

That will be a "must have" for me in the M4000

Pam will be happy to come down to your place to play "Girl from Ipanema" for far less money than it costs to buy an M4000. She'll even throw in an encore for nothing. Now if I can only convince her husband Jeff to have a go at a new trumpet sound... That's one bit of playing that certainly requires some sphincter control. I wouldn't want to play a G above high C for 8 seconds!

Yeah, it's been on my list since Rick announced it. Glad to finally hear the "end" result. It's a real gas!! Nice that it "came out" just in time for the new Trons.

The new Fritz samples also sound really nice. Great job Mike!! Now the only ones missing are the Two Trombones/Two Trumpets and the Vibes.
